3-cylinder Perkins on an FE-35?

Will the 3-cylinder Perkins bolt up to the bell housing on my FE-35?

Yes it will, but the battery tray, fuel tank, radiator, and front axle cradle are all different.  You will need a 3-cylinder type starter.  All MF tractors from the 35 up to the 399 used the same bell housing…a fantastic design… Even the 6-354 Perkins will bolt up to it.
