Original Finish on Linch Pins

What was the original finish on the Linch Pins and Chain?  August 7, 2016.

The original finish on linch pins, and other hitch parts were originally plated in “Yellow Zinc.” You may be able to find a plating service near you that can re-plate them. Another option is Eastwood, 800-343-9353, a company that makes a full line of automotive restoration supplies and finishes. I just looked over their website,  but am not sure I can find the original finish they used to sell. The product I am talking about produces a variegated gold/silver/blue finish. You may learn more if you call them.
